Lead Pastor Steve Rau

PictureLead Pastor Steve Rau
Lead Pastor Steve and his wife Anna have recently celebrated 26 years of marriage and are celebrating the start of Pastor Steve's new position as the Lead Pastor of SHC, which began on January 24th, 2018. Together Steve and Anna have over 18 years experience volunteering and serving in various roles ranging from youth leaders, pre-school teaching and administration. Raising their two children and ministering to friends and family members have been a focal point for their lives.

Pastor Steve is excited for this new adventure and is really looking forward to getting to know more people in the church and the community.

Lead Pastor, Steve Rau says "Everything we do as a church, every leader raised, every person reached, every community event done, every department of the church, will operate through the filter of being "Servant Hearted and Service Minded."

Founding Pastor's Rick and Rena Story

PictureFounding Pastor's Rick and Rena Story
Founded in 1983, Pastor's Rick and Rena Story started SHC to evangelize to the lost, to disciple believers and to bring an encouraging word.  Through Fellowship, Worshiping God and Bible training they taught many people to use their gifts to glorify God. That every person would come to know the Love of God.

Pastor's Rick and Rena Story have recently celebrated 52 years of marriage and are celebrating the completion of their 35th year anniversary of founding SHC on Jan. 23rd, 2018 and have over 45 years in the ministry. They have watched their 5 children grow, graduate college, get married and now have 11 grand children and 1 great grand child. Since founding Shiawassee Harvest Church, the Story's have dedicated their lives to raising their kids and church family to seek and glorify God.

What others are saying about SHC

"Great church family.. Awesome praise & worship team... The presence of God is so strong.... And the bible study is something I look forward to each Wednesday evening".

"My husband and I believe that each Christian church is meant to function as a body of believers-that each member is an important part of that body. Here, everyone is acknowledged and encouraged to be all that God means him or her to be. We support each other in and outside of Sunday morning".

Truly a place that has a heart for the people and an anointing! Grace and love abound here. The worship is always amazing and Spirit filled. Best praise team and Pastors in the county!

A family atmosphere. Sound biblical teaching. All are welcome with Grace and Love.

I love being apart of a big church family! I love being able to relate my life to the sermons and the praise and worship band is amazing!
